By M. David Kasonga
Now notice right after
this, David gets upset because of the Lord’s wrath
came against Uzzah. There is a lesson to learn from this
my fellow Congolese. It is only by God’s grace that
God had allowed us to get to where we are now using
people methods such as negotiations, conferences,
treaties, witchcraft and so on. But God is still looking
for true repentance from Congo. A dramatic 360 degree
change from wickedness. There is too much of man and
little of God. This hinders God from doing what He wants
to do for our beautiful country. God needs to increase
and we need to decrease. The Congo problem is spiritual
so get your hands off and let God step in. The battle
needs to be won in the spiritual first than it can
manifest itself through the natural. God is stopping us
as a nation at this bump in order to capture our
attention. Isn’t this what is going on? How many
people died and are still dying? Where is the dignity of
the whole nation? Life keeps getting worse and worse in
Congo. Volcano eruptions in Kivu, war that seems like it
will never end. God is putting a speed bump in order to
get our attention. We are seeing politicians being
converted and testifying how the country was literally
handed over to Satan. The people of this land were
cursed through the water of the Congo River, the money,
the music and speeches on radio and TV. Fellow
Congolese, all this is God giving us secrets and
knowledge on why we are living the situation we are in.
Now tell me, a country sold to the devil by its leaders,
can it come out of that curse through meetings, peace
treaties or human negotiations? I don’t think so. Only
God redeems. He had redeemed all of us on the cross, but
we put ourselves back under the rule of Satan. ONLY
REPENTANCE CAN BRING BACK THE PRESENCE OF GOD IN CONGO.
ONLY TRUE REPENTANCE BY THE CONGOLESE WILL CHANGE THE
ATMOSPHERE OF THE WHOLE NATION.
After the death of
Uzzah, the bible says David feared the Lord and said how
will the ark of the Lord come to me? They took the ark
to Obed-Edom’s house. I love David’s determination.
Despite the incidence, he still wants to know how the
ark can come to Jerusalem. Despite what is going on in
Congo today, I ask the same question, how will the ark
of the Lord ever come to Congo? Notice they left the ark
at Obed-Edom’s for three months and something
happened. The bible says the Lord blessed him and his
entire household. Wow! Just the presence of the ark can
do that? No weeds grew in his backyard, his plans were
successful, he was in good health, and he got rest. This
sounds like what Congo needs. I can imagine when David
heard about what God was doing in Obed-Edom’s home, he
might have said “I knew it!” “I need the ark in
Jerusalem. It will bring peace to my people, blessing to
whole nation and victory over the enemy.”
Now imagine David
questioning himself on how his forefathers carried the
ark. He finds out that you don’t put it on a cart but
the Levites carry it. Levites are those who lead praise
and worship in the tabernacle and were the only ones
permitted to carry the ark. So David does a census and
gets the remaining Levites. The Levites recall their
fathers telling them about how to carry the ark, how to
dress when carrying the ark and how to preparing the
carrying of the ark. David makes sure everything is done
according to God’s ordinances to the Levites and
finally returns to get the ark with the Levites.
Congo lets get together
and prepare our hearts to bring the ark back where it
belongs. God blessed our country with a special kind of
music that is supposed to be for His glory. He blessed
us rhythmic abilities, dancing and singing abilities.
How did David know that Levites were supposed to carry
the ark? Surely because he looked into the Law of Moses
to find the answer. How shall we know how to bring the
ark back to the Congo? Well like I said earlier, many
things are being revealed about the past of Congo. You
will find that most of these revelations have to do with
human sacrifices, incantations over the Congo River, the
money and the music. I do not think that the things that
lead the country to its actual state of chaos can be
solved by meetings with neighboring countries or any
financial or material help from the West. This is
spiritual. We need to bring the ark back into the heart
of Africa.
The Levites, after a
long period of preparation and carfel study of the Law
of Moses were finally ready to pick up the ark. They
pick up the ark and take six steps, David says to put it
down so he can offer a sacrifice. Bringing back the ark
to Congo will not only take time but many sacrifices. By
sacrifices I mean constant repentance. We as a nation
need to give ourselves to God. We are His people. When
the ark finally arrived in Jerusalem, David was able to
give bread to every single person in the kingdom because
the presence of God was back in the Land. And the Lord
blessed Israel.
Fellow Congolese, we do
not need to sign treaties or waste time meeting with
people for unsolved results. We long have had meetings
which lead back to the same old things. I am tired of
reading the same things about Congo. It’s always
killing, sicknesses, diseases, rebels etc… It is time
for us to look at the real problem which is “if
my people, who are called by my name, will humble
themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their
wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will
forgive their sin
and will
heal their land, says the Lord.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)
God is calling us to repent. Very simple, just repent
and turn from our wicked ways. We tried everything else,
it didn’t work. Let us give God a chance I beg you.
Let us ask God for forgiveness. He is faithful to
forgive us and heal our land. The richness of the
country is not the natural resources, it is the people.
The people need to repent and God will heal the land.
Simple as that. Why are we complicating things? The
problem is spiritual. Let’s bring the ark home where
it belongs with fear, reverence, and sincere repentance.
How will the ark of the
Lord come to Congo?
Repentance!
Repentance! Repentance!
Pray with me please:
Lord
I’ve sinned. I know you died for my sins. I understand
that it has always been your desire to dwell among your
people. I understand today that You will only come if
things are done Your and in Your terms. That is way
Father I acknowledge my transgressions and those of my
fathers, political leaders and ancesters. Forgive Lord I
pray. I crown You Lord over Congo today. We are Your
people. Come and save us in Jesus’ name. Amen. |
