DIGNITY, Inc 1st ANNUAL AWARD CEREMONY

Silver Spring, Maryland

Dignity Inc is announcing its first annual of the Congolese Citizenship Award. It is a distinguished award to be given to any member of the Congolese Community who has demonstrated remarkable leadership skills, and has shown continuous commitment to the Congolese Diaspora in the United States and abroad.

This is an event to encourage, and we are glad to announce at Congoboston that we will be attending this ceremony to respond to their invitation and to support the idea which encourages Congolese of the Diaspora, appreciating each other in order to empower initiatives, activism and community development. The board of Congoboston had initiated the same type of Awards ceremonies back in 2002, called "Congo Independence Day-Award of Excellence". It has been an on-going Awards ceremony which takes place every June 30th Congo's independence anniversary in Boston Massachusetts. So, we are happy to support today Dignity’s initiative on their first annual award in Maryland, US.

The event will be held on Saturday January 29, 2005 from 6:30-8:30 pm at the Holiday Inn; 8777, Georgia Ave, Silver Spring, MD 20910. It is a first time event in Maryland, so you are all invited to attend the ceremony which is an opportunity to appreciate those among us who distinguish in being part of our community empowerment in the US.

Contributions will be expected from Sponsors ($200); VIPs ($100); Honor guests ($50); Individuals ($30), and are to be sent no later than the January 15th to DIGNITY Inc atPO BOX 27458, Washington DC 20038-7458 You can also pay by credit or debit cards through the online Paypal account, using their e-mail dignity@dignitycongo.org             Dignity will provide you with tickets for accessing the hotel’s function room.
